Congratulations Erin and Steve!

Our cousins Erin and Steve welcomed their son Colin Steve on Monday, January 5th at 12:21pm. He weighed 8lbs even and measured 20 1/2 inches long. He's such a beautiful boy! We can't wait to meet him!

How's the baby?

The baby is doing great! I had a doctor's appointment the Monday before Christmas and we got to see the baby in another sonogram. The baby was active and even waved at us! I have lost 5 pounds since becoming pregnant, however in these past couple of weeks my appetite has really returned, so I don't expect that trend to continue. I have another appointment on Jan. 20th, which is just a wellness checkup, and then three weeks after that we'll be able to come in for the Big Sonogram. That's when we'll find out if the baby is a he or a she! Right now, the baby is about the size of a lemon, according to the medical booklet. Awww.... so tiny!

Six Flags for 2009

We spent January 1st, 2009 at Six Flags over Texas! It was a lot of fun, the weather was a perfect 65 degrees and no wind. And the holiday lights were still up and very beautiful!

SNOW! In Texas! Sure, they had to manufacture it, but it was fun!

Yes, I know. I'm way behind. But the holidays have just been great! Here are some photos. The first ones are of Aden at his Lola and Papa's on Christmas Eve.

Here's Aden Christmas morning. He opened one present before everyone got to the house - his Little People nativity set. This is Aden telling a story about the reindeer and their trumpets (on the wrapping paper)...

This was cute, we talked about how the Three Wise Men brought presents for Baby Jesus, and Aden set his nativity up just like this himself. Isn't he sweet?
