2 Fun 4 Words

Aden spent his birthday cash and gift cards over the weekend and got these lego sets called "Streetz." I ended up spending a lot of time putting it all together (my fault, I knew it said ages 6+ and I got it anyway) but Aden loves every second of playing with it. He shook with excitement (literally!) all night, and said, "thank you thank you thank you" over and over again. He even got to stay up an hour and a half past bedtime to play and I could still barely pull him away to go to bed. Only promises of playing with it again when he woke up would work. I love the age when toys are this exciting.

Shrek-attack

Aden and I dropped Ethan off at Gigi's last Friday and saw a movie together. This time, we saw Shrek 4. We plan to see Toy Story 3 in a couple days. I sure I do love spending individual time with the boys sometimes too.

Proud to be an American

We got the chance to see the Fourth of July parade yesterday morning and it was really good. And very long! Both boys absolutely love parades, and it was a toss up if it was more fun to watch the floats or the boys' reactions to the floats.

Aden took photos too (to see this particular shot, visit his blog)

Happy Independance Day!

Riverwalk 2010

After Sea World, we headed down to the Riverwalk for some Mexican food and ice cream. This was both boys first time there.

Here are a few pictures from our awesome trip to Sea World, San Antonio!

Waiting to ride the Shamu Roller Coaster...

See Aden in the back with Adam? And Mia and Grandma in front of them?

These are taken at the kiddie water park section...

Adam talked Aden into standing on the bridge when the water coaster went down. Aden liked it enough to do it twice.

Waiting to see Believe, the Shamu show. The orcas weren't actually cooperating this time, but managed to get a few tricks in. It was fun just to see them swim and jump around. And the baby is adorable.

The sea lion show is so fun! I laughed out loud a few times, and Aden was just mesmorized by the show.

Showing off his killer whale tail necklace and proclaiming that someday, he too will train killer whales.

We ended the day back at the water park. Boy was it ever HOT!
